The Royal Academy has teamed up with the Royal Collection Trust to offer special joint tickets to Charles I: King and Collector at the RA and Charles II: Art & Power at Buckingham Palace, complete with a break for complimentary cake and coffee in the RA Grand Cafe. These two historic exhibitions celebrate the role of art in Stuart court culture, through the two kings who acquired some of the Royal Collection's greatest works.

We will start with morning entry to Charles I: King and Collector at the RA, which reunites some of the greatest masterpieces of Charles I's magnificent collection, scattered across Europe after his execution in 1649. Rest your legs with a complimentary tea or coffee and cake in our Grand Café, before moving onto Charles II: Art & Power, just a 20-minute brisk walk away at The Queen's Gallery in Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately, there is no discount for Friends of the RA on this special joint ticket.
